  • Resveratrol's health benefits for women go further than skin deep. Women are three times as likely as men to develop thyroid cancer, which studies suggest resveratrol can help prevent.229
  • Resveratrol may have been able to help a former U.S. president with serious health issues. Abraham Lincoln and probably one of his sons are thought to have had the genetic syndrome MEN 2B, which causes a rare form of thyroid cancer and also adrenal gland cancer.265
  • Resveratrol and potassium iodide can help protect against a radioactive emergency.
